Dr Thomas's Story
Thomas is from Hampstead, Maryland. His schools include Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School 410. He was a member of the football and wrestling teams. He obtained a BA from UMBC, a MA from Loyola University. He later attended The American University, Washington, DC. where he earned his Ph.D in Psychology. He worked for five years for the Air Force in Korea and three years in Japan as a Clinical Psychologist before retiring in Oct 2016. He was married to Alene Augusto from the Philippines in August 2014 in Bangkok, Thailand.and they lived in Misawa, Japan. He is active in skiing, water sports, cooking, and travel. Since coming to Korea in May 2009 he has traveled to Korea, China, Hong Kong X3, Singapore, Malaysia (Mainland and Borneo), Australia, New Zealand, Thailand X3, Cambo...Expand for more
dia, Vietnam, Brunei, Sri Lanka, The Maldives (where we honeymooned), and the Philippines 26 times. Most recently I returned for a tour of Germany in February 2015 (go there every year to see friends and family), and in October 2015 to Istanbul, Turkey and then to Israel for the Holy Land Tour. I have also been to all but four West European countries, and when on a trip to Egypt on my return to the US in October '16. Yea, I like to travel. Other countries are not here listed, such as Mexico, and the islands. I considered retirement to Costa Rica and stayed there three weeks in March, but found it was more expensive than I thought, so I now live in the Philippines.
